In a groundbreaking move, the Artisans and Technicians Association of Ogbomoso (A.T.A.O.) has made history by officially creating the Office of the Youth President for the first time. The prestigious position has been conferred upon Mr. Abdulwahab Moshood Akin, marking a new era of youth involvement and leadership within the association.

The historic appointment was made during a significant event where A.T.A.O. also formalized its adoption into the National Association of Nigerian Traders (NANTS) Oyo State Chapter. The event was graced by key dignitaries and stakeholders who have continuously shown unwavering support for the advancement of artisans and technicians in Ogbomoso.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Abdulwahab Moshood Akin expressed profound gratitude to the leadership of A.T.A.O., especially the ever active and dynamic President, Alhaji Aare Saka Abiodun Aremu, for believing in his abilities and recommending him for the role. – Hon. George Ogunlade (Chairman, Ogbomosho North LG)
– Hon. Oyedokun Oyeniyi (Chairman, Ogbomoso South LG)
– Alhaji Monsur Ayoade Ejide
– Hon. Nureni Alade Adeshola
– Babaloja Oyo 
– Princess Aderonke Rahmat Adedoja (NANTS Oyo State Chairperson & Southwest Coordinator)
– Alhaji Asiwaju Yekeen Olawuyi, whose dedication played a key role in facilitating A.T.A.O.’s adoption into NANTS.

The  presence of these esteemed personalities further emphasized the importance of the event and the collective support for the advancement of artisans and technicians in Ogbomoso.

As the first-ever Youth President of A.T.A.O., Mr. Abdulwahab Moshood Akin is set to embark on a journey of leadership, advocacy, and growth.
